That is wrong. Only in the Quicktimeplayer you can export nothing more. If you secure the old Player before, then you can export despite Quicktime7 in the old Player. FCP does not concern that anyway.

foto jpeg works with 100% in rgb 4:4:4. that is fine for works in after effects (render also internaly in rgb). in fcp is this not fine. use foto jpeg with 75% (works in yuv 4:2:2 with highest quality).
animation is also a rgb codec. fine for after effects. better as foto jpeg, works lossless.8bit blackmagic is fin in fcp, better for digibeta is 10bit. yuv-codec in after effects is not fine, permanently change colorspace with calculation error…
