Hello and welcome to CreativeCow,
The first thing that comes to mind for your problem would be to use an ‘Art’ Shader. you can import your texture the way you would another, but it would stay flat like in a cartoon.
That’s all I can think of now, but if I come across anything else I’ll let you know!
Ciao 🙂

I’ve managed to sort of fix it.
The character was in a hypernurb, so the hair was only generating on the original mesh.
I’ve used a fur object instead of a hair and it is bending with the hypernurb. Not sure if this is a bug with hair or what but fur has worked out better anyway.
Thanks for your help though =]Nick Smith

Outboard the eyes??
The normals was the first thing I checked, they’re all the right way round. I’ve even tried aligning them and reversing them back and forth and it’s still changed nothing.

Hi,
I have tried that yeah and it’s all in the right place (I made the map in Body paint).
It’s literally just 2 spots, symmetrically on either side of the head. It does it with the map on and off, so I don’t think that’s the problem.
It seems that the hair just won’t generate on that patch.Nick Smith

Hi,
My guess on this would be the file size. Team render drops out if the file is too large to send over a network.
In the preference settings there is an option to change that drop off point, but you’ll have to change that on all the machines in your team.Hope this helps!

Hi all!
Thanks for the help.
Putting the map into the density worked, but I had to reset the UVW map first. I think something somewhere got screwed.

OK, I’ll try setting up the map again.
Would using Vray be effecting this in anyway?
I’ve tried using the map in nearly every channel so far and nothing seems to be working.Nick Smith

Hi,
Well you could email it to me and I’ll have a look.
But if all you’ve done is put the logo inside the camera then I don’t see why you wouldn’t have an option to keyframe it.Nick Smith

Hi,
Thanks for replying, and I’ve tried that but on the final render it still comes through :/
