Quick follow up – if I want to base all off the worst camera (Sony) – how do you dumb down the DSLR? Color correct seems to want to make everything better. Since the Canon is so clear – should I try to raise the blacks and Grays to make it not as bright and clear? Sorry if this is a dumb question – but most tutorials show how to improve the video.

    Thanks,
    Nick

Thanks for the advice (about using worst camera). I’ll check into the link you sent too. That looks like it has some good info for me to check out.

    Thanks,

anks – and no slight taken. I know it is ancient. When I find something I like I usually stick with it. I had not seen how nice the 2015 version was. Makes me hungry again and want to improve!

I appreciate all your help. It means a lot that you are willing to help a someone you don’t know. Thanks again.

Thanks for the responses! I was watching the videos and thought – this looks way too easy – ha. Yes Cs5 is old – my budget is extremely small (just a guy trying to help the local music scene out). I’ll try to see how I can try to get something similar out of Cs5 (if anyone knows let me know). Maybe it is time I look into saving some money and trying to get a more updated version.

I appreciate the insights – I learn something new every time. Thanks.
