then make 23.976 masters as wellit;s such a slight difference, that a simple conform would work.
conform all your 23.976 rushes to 24, too, unless sync on longer shots is an issue.

but weird behaviour in FCP (including display issues in the timeline) can be caused by corrupt preferences. -
this looks very much like it’s time to trash your preferences.

ok, but reconnect it anyway.

the linked clips may be new master clips, so not reconnecting when you reconnect the audio clips on their own.
have you tried just selecting the linked clips and reconnecting them?

well if you pan your single clip to the centre, you’ll get audio on track 1 and 2 on export.

i don’t know what you are talking about, MArk.
OMFs from FCP have been consistently solid for me for years.
Michael Gissing, a very experienced sound mixer on this forum, has told me that FCP’s OMFs were more reliable than those from other apps.
