    And it continues. Try to do any effects of any kind and everything becomes tumultuous.

  • Nope. Just editing. It gets worse and more frequent if I’m importing alphas, but it’s still pretty constant with straight video.

  • I don’t run MBL and am still in constant freezes, crashes, and re-recovering files. It’s been an absolute disaster.

    I’ve long thought it might be the MXF format that might be the problem. We’re having similar troubles with it right now at our company (which is BEYOND frustrating, by the way).

    When we “Replace with After Effects Comp” we’ll get solid green video, black video, weird scaling issues (where the video will say 100% but is zoomed in far past that), and general glitchy-ness. It’s problematic for us as we’re using the XF100 and specifically went away from FCP to avoid transcoding and wasting hard drive space.

    Are there any rumblings from Adobe that a fix for this is on the horizon or does it just look like us MXF users are kind of hosed?
