Then when I look back into the folder housing the text file, I see that AE saved my modified file as “old” and just recreated the default Shortcuts text file:

Hi Todd,

Thank you very much your reply. What’s happening is that AE is not recognizing the modified text file. After I modify the file, save it, and reopen After Effects, I get this window:

Hi Gabriel,

Unfortunately I don’t have that option in Bridge – to import into Premiere, not sure why. But when I double click any media file it opens only in Photoshop. There’s an option to open in Illustrator, but no option to open in Premiere. I have the latest version installed….CC 2014.1

Thanks very much for your help and feedback Larry. So far I haven’t had any issues at all with jpegs, even as high as 4000 x 2160 resolution. And yes I did encounter exactly what you described at that resolution…moire patterns and sure enough yes it was easily solved by applying some gaussian blur. I’m very relieved to hear then that jpegs will be no problem. I also just discovered that Adobe Bridge does not allow me to store metadata for “gif” image files. Thank God I have very few gif images. I’ll be sure to convert them to png or tiff. I also see that in the latest version of Photoshop CC, when you save an image there is no “jpeg” option. A lot of other options though: PSD, tiff, png, BMP, even giff, but no jpeg option. Has jpeg been officially discontinued from photoshop as an image format? I thought gifs were an older format than jpegs.

Sorry I spoke too soon. It appears that keywords don’t work with gif image files. I don’t have many gif files but I guess the few that I have must be converted to another format to work with keywords, good to know.

Thank you all for your feedback. OK, so I’ve been adding keywords in Bridge, but I’m not understanding how those keywords would help me in Premiere.
Those keywords I added in Bridge don’t show up in Premiere the way markers added in Prelude show up in Premiere. Am I missing something?
