  • 9.6.5 installed fine but Premiere Pro CS6 can’t read the card and doesn’t have blackmagic player option and all the parameters in Black Magic Control Panel are grey out.
Decklink HD Extreme 2 and Intensity Pro work fine on the same computer with the same driver and softwares.
Black Magic Design pls confirm if Decklink SP PCIe could be able to work with CS6 or not.
    Thanks

  • Same here with Decklink SP PCIe

We have DecklinkSP, HD Extreme 2 and Intensity Pro, all of them have black square grid when export with BM DV Preset. Microsoft DV, Mjpeg and uncompress 8bits, 10 bits Presets exports is fine, capture in all 3 codecs also fine. There’s somethings wrong with BM DV Codecs.

    Hi Jim,
Have you select Black Magic Video Output in :Prefercences/ Video Preview/ Output Device in After Effects instead of default Computer Monitor Only yet?
    Hope that help.

    Hi Timo Albert,
Decklink SP PCI run on 32bits only, cannot work with 64bits OS, Decklink PCIe does, as I know.
    Hope that helps

    Hi,
Blackmagic tech-support told me to calibrate the card. I see Analog input level with Video gain and Chroma gain options in Decklink Preference. Do you usually have to adjust Video gain and Chroma gain in Decklink Preference when using analog input or just leave them in default, and have you ever experienced dark and downgraded image using analog input with default Video gain and Chroma gain (at zero).
    Thank you in advance.

We have same audio problems as yours, Martin, but with decklink SP, using a anolog mixer too, captured level are too low, and output are too high (couldnt find a way to set input and output level +4db or +10db or somethings else in decklink preference like my old Pinnacle Targa 3000 board). So I have to lower the master level in Audio mixer in PPro in order to monitor and record to tape using decklink.

    Thanks Tim,
    – Software raid is not sufficient for video editing. So would you recommend some raid cards (hardware based raids) at reasonable price.
    – Will eSATA II 3Gbits, LaCie 2big Dual (2-disk RAID) fast enough? Can I Plug this Lacie direct to Asus P5K WS Mother Board’s eSATA Back Panel I/O Ports or have to use with LaCie SATA II PCI-X/Express eSATA cards as LaCie recommend?
    Thanks in advanced!
