Gary C I persume. Small world. Vegas seemed like a good start into HD and multicam. Do you use a titler with your vegas. I did buy the excaliber multicam. Still using the screenplay as it is still the fast editing I know for some of the event stuff I do. I’ll use Vegas for multicam and other stuff screenplay can’t do.

    Take care

My present editing set up is centered around the Applied-Magic screenplay system which is propriatory. The digital jumpback folks as well as prodad, pixeland etc. made stuff specifically for the screenplay system that is not p.c. based. Screenplay is a great event video editing appliance realtime, a/b roll editing wavelet compression etc. and it is as intuitive as it gets. Learning curve is all of 30 minutes yet very powerful editing stuff. Not as good with the special effects, but good editing trumps special effects in the test of time. I’ve had it since 99′ and it still rocks. Sorry to get off topic.
