    Hi Grazie,

    Thanks,

Do you mean the still from the video that I propose to work on ?
If so, then here it is. Ive also uploaded a still with a little work I did just now with the cookie cutter and brightness and contrast settings for you to see the results I have achieved; maybe it cant be taken any further, or what do you think ? Any other advice would be great!

    Thanks again,

    Neil

Will do Stephen, and thanks, you enlightened me to an issue that I hadn’t even thought about asking of.
Also, If anyone out there has any other opinions on methods of organizing my footage as asked in my 1st question, id also be grateful…

    Thanks for the reply Stephen
In that reply you actually addressed another issue I had
Everytime I used the stabalize effect it never worked because as you said I was applying it to an ‘event’ and not a clip! So thanks two fold! but I’m not sure if the fog is gonna clear on my approach to logging and organising… I will check out what you have suggested…
thanks very much for your reply

    Thanks for replying Bob,
    I sorted it.
I had it set to 12volt on the input side
It should have been set to 48
(volts I mean, not phantom power; i already had the mic set to phantom)
    Thanks again

    Hi Eric
    Thanks for replying
Yep, phantom set, and mic level also
Now I am not feeding out of the mixer to anything
I dont have a camera or a recorder connected
so the signal is not going anywhere
I just want to plug in my mic and listen and watch the feedback is all?

    Hi Mark
Did you discover a way yet ?

    Connie
Thanks a lot for that write-up
Very informing and at the same time surprising!
Surprising that you need to do all that to capture
your footage; what about simply plugging in the usb,
dragging the folders to your external hard drive
and away you go !?? Is there a problem with that
because that’s what I’ve been doing! And that
involves none of the steps you were advised on
that came from Sony. Im gonna follow your way though!
    Thanks again

    Thanks Richard
That helps clear up a lot of things for me
I am intending to edit away as I am and then worry about color correction after. So I will use the no-calibrated monitors as they are for now leaving the coloring duties to later. My graphics card a GeForce 1.2 gb 570 has a hdmi output though and my monitor has the connector; should I utilize that I dont know how to set that up!

    Hi Chris
    Thanks for your reply
I guess Im referring to the Intensity Pro
Im referring more to the capture method than the card though
Im wondering about the way Ive captured all my work shot on a PMW EX1 and 200 on SxS cards through USB to hard drive.
If I had utilized this capture method do I get the original uncompressed image or is this for live streaming purposes.

Its a quality control issue I guess and Im concerned about my capturing methods after shooting from a camera like the PMW EX1 or 200

Thanks in advance for your attention
