Good point you made there. I always shoot manual. I have come across another similar article stating that this is a common problem with the FS700.

When put in situations of high contrast and low shutter speeds this happens.

So now I know at least 🙂

Also this seems to disappear when shooting 4K to an external recorder.

Shot a silhouette with the sun behind it the other day recording 4K to the Q7 recorder and it came out perfectly!
