Shooting mainly weddings, so the colors really have to pop. And, the lense needs to be able to shoot well in low light. That’s why I was considering leaning towards the more expensive 50mm 1.2L. Thanks for the input.

I shot on a Panasonic HMC 150 onto a class 10 SD card.

Thanks for the help guys! It’s much appreciated. However, I did talk with the guys at Nvidia, and they recommended a Quadro 4000. My only hesitation is that it only has around 250mb of memory. They said the GeoForce cards are more for consumers while the Quadros are for professionals, and I would be better off getting that one. Any thoughts?

AVCHD. Shot from footage from the Pansonic HMC 150.
All I know is that it has a Serial ATA Hard Drive. No external hard drives or RAID. I really don’t know a heck a lot about computers. Thanks for the help.

Thanks Eric, the camera that I’m looking into converts the files to H264 format, so quicktimes. I’m starting out short form, four to five minutes at the max, and maybe I will expand into longer form down the road. As far as cameras, I’m set at one right now, but the most I’ll get is two. Thanks for the response.

Thanks Norman, I did hear about the overheating issue with the 7D which would definitely not work for interviews. Is there a particular camera that you would recommend for long format for around 3 to 4k?

Also, for the shotgun mic. Would I get as good or better sound out of that as a lav mic when shooting, say a two person interview? Thanks.

Oh yea, no worries. I just wanted to let everyone else know that read this thread. Canon is in the works of making a 64Gb memory card however. Which, I would assume up the file sizes.

Just to clarify to whoever reads this thread, even if you shoot at 720p, the Canon 7D can still only store up to 12 minutes of footage at a time.

Yes, that helps out a lot. Thank you. I think I can compromise to 720p for interviews and up it to full 1080 for other videos. That extra 13 minutes would make a big difference! So, that Zoom works for just about any camera? Thanks again.
