I did try this, but when I went to export and matched the comp settings it said it was going to export as iphone/mobile device etc. I thought that must be wrong so I canceled it.

I did hear of some problems with this Pentax with CS4. I read that it was using an older codec and that Premiere Pro CS4 wasn’t compatible with the native footage. I read that CS5 works fine with it though. Also if it is the camera, why would it just play strangely on certain devices?

I’ve edited a video in PPro CS5 with footage from a Pentax K-7 HD DSLR. I dont have a lot of experience with HD DSLR footage, but I have worked with 7D footage with no problems at all.

The problem I am having is that when I export the video using H.264 everything looks great on my Mac Book Pro. When I upload it to Vimeo and watch it it still looks great, and it looks fine when I play it on my Iphone 3GS through the Vimeo app., but every other computer Ive watched it on or had co workers watch it on there are strange glitches that are very obvious. It looks like horizontal bars, not like you would see with interlaced footage, but horizontal bars that look like the shot is arranged incorrectly or something to that effect and it increases as motion increases.

I have made several time lines with different properties, and exported each of them out a few different ways. Only two of the options show up fine for me no matter how I view the footage, unless its on another computer. The rest are bad for me and everyone else

Just to put it out there, I know it is not an internet connection problem.

Ive discovered that the video will play fine on other newer Mac Book Pros as well. I can see the problem when I watch it on an older macbook, or Laptops from HP from last year. Im not sure about other systems. Maybe that will help narrow down the issue?

Card Dancer would have been a great help at the time, I ended up just creating a lot of individual cards and having them fade in and achieved a version of what I wanted.

Could you point me in the direction of a place on here that will tell me how I can create a borderless pdf in CS5 now that they have removed the automate PDF Presentation function. I have used Bridge, but if after reducing all the borders to zereo anywhere that was possible I still get a border around my pdf, and I cant have that because I am uploading to issuu.com
