Ok, finally got the serial numbers. I was only able to download ALL the programs at the same time by following the exact download link I got when I got the serial numbers. Also, I had to uninstall Vegas 14 that I had previously installed. If you don’t follow that exact download link you get sent by MAGIX, then you can still instill DVDA, but have to register it first, then can install it. You can also install Mercali but have to go to the Mercali website, register, then download the Vegas plug-in. You activate that plug-in within the plug-in itself inside Vegas. I don’t see where you can install New Blue other than following the link MAGIX sends you. That plug-in must be activated by registering with New Blue during the installation process. The New Blue installation package is called Vegas Pro Complete and took larger to install than Vegas itself. So overall, it is a little bit of a process to install. And from my reading of the EULA, it looks like you can install the program on up to 3 computers, but then have to deactivate one of them to switch to a different computer. That’s the exact same set-up Hit Film Pro uses.
Long story short, I guess you should save that email you get from MAGIX; otherwise, you are going to be downloading the programs separately (kind of a pain) and may not be able to install New Blue at all, unless you can find where the Vegas Pro Complete package is on their website.

Oh, I see.
This is so weird because I just got the numbers and was not able to find DVDA, Mercali, or New Blue anywhere in the download. I didn’t download the Suite option, but the Vegas Pro option, and it was supposed to be included with them. I have everything working now except the New Blue plug-in. Kind of weird how this whole thing is playing out.
Thanks.

You have to register it on the MAGIX website first with the serial number, then you can download it.
For Mercali, you can download it from the Mercali website, then activate those when you use the plug-in.
Haven’t figured out how to do Titler Pro yet. Can’t find that program on NewBlue website and so far, I can’t seem to register it on MAGIX.

Sorry about that. Actually, I was only able to add DVD Architect that way, and had to download the Mercali Vegas Plug Ins for the Mercali website. Then could activate when using as a plug-in.
Having an issue downloading Titler Express right now.
But once I get that figured out, I’m all good.

Me too.
Here’s a little thing I just found out.
To download the other programs like DVD Architect, Mercali, and all that, you need to register each software program on their website in your account, then you can download the other programs.
I was just getting ready to email their CS, but then figured this out.
I, for one, am glad Magix is trying to keep the software alive. I’ve always had good results with Vegas and it was a very stable program for me.

Hurray, I just got my download serial numbers in the mail from MAGIX.Now, I can start running this thing through its paces.
I’ve been very happy with Vegas through the years and found it to be very intuitive and easy to learn. I hope it continues to improve with MAGIX.

Just curious what you set your burn speed at.

September 21, 2016 at 4:21 pm in reply to: How To Activate Vegas Pro 14 After Purchasing Upgrade Offer For Vegas 13 + Free Vegas Pro 14Just to update:
I did receive this email from Magix. Apparently, they will be sending out the serial number via email soon.“If you purchased the Vegas Pro 13 (Suite) offer that includes the free upgrade to Vegas Pro 14 (Suite) from MAGIX recently, you will be contacted shortly with the product details for version 14. No further action on your end is required at this point. You might just want to make sure that you’re receiving our e-mails and they don’t end up in your spam folder.
The Vegas Pro 13 serial number you currently have will *not* work in the version 14 installers. You will be provided with a new serial number in our e-mail.
I hope this information helps.”

September 21, 2016 at 7:46 am in reply to: How in the world do you actually get an email to contact MAGIX support – Eric Dettman?Opps…I read that wrong. It says you can use for 7 days like you said or extend for 30 days if you register. Not 37 days. My mistake!

September 21, 2016 at 7:43 am in reply to: How in the world do you actually get an email to contact MAGIX support – Eric Dettman?I see. Well, definitely post if you can.
On the Welcome screen, it says:
“Just a few more steps before you can start the program. The serial number is located on the back of the CD/DVD sleeve or it has been sent to you via email.” Seems like an oversight on their part to not have a ready way to convert the Vegas Pro serial number.I notice under the option to Continue Using Trial, it says you get a 30 day trial, but can extend it for7 more days by registering, so it looks like a 37-day trial period, which seems reasonable.
Thank you for your response.
