I’m running CS3 – Production Premium on Windows.
The only issue I have is with the Titler in Premiere 3.0.
I’ll give a more specific example, in case I’m being hard to follow. I build a TV show and DVD which have the same program content and length. The only things changing are the graphics behind the athlete’s names (generally .PSD or .AVI files), as well as the font/placement/etc of their names. We manage this text as a separate layer, using the Titler to create this content.
So, we can easily replace the TV shows .PSD or .AVI files by offlining them, and relinking to identically named equivalents in a different folder. The titles, whether or not they are exported as .prtl files, will not migrate in this way.
I’m hoping there is someway to do this without abandoning the Titler. I don’t think my co-workers will be willing to try anything they don’t already use regularly.
