I’ve been having the exact same issue for a few weeks now. I’m running off of a Windows PC so it’s not a Mac exclusive issue.

It was doing this with all keyframes including video and still images, but has since gone back to normal for video/images but remains for audio. I’m guessing it’s a bug from recent updates, it’s also driving me nuts!
