Hi Dan,
Thanks for the response!
I’m looking to fade the dots with fixed timing in random order (so they all fade in by a certain time randomly).
To give you a picture, the dots represent different locations fading in on a map territory while a camera is panning over the particular territory. I began doing this by hand, but figured with expressions that there had to be a better way. I am still very new to expressions and am looking forward to any advice, thanks!

Those are some excellent points.
Dave – Thanks, in the end you can’t modify the frame rate. Whatever the final output is, is. Camera movement will have to be modified to make it work at 23.976fps, which is what I plan on fixing. Thanks for reminding me about that – *bonks head with small rubber bat*
Walter – Thanks for advice, good point on the job of a DP. I will have to tweak till it looks smooth!
Thanks a ton!

Thanks Todd,
I must be missing something. Does it work the other way around as well (AE to Illustrator)?

Yup, I am talking about the shape vector path!
Is there any way to cut and paste paths into Illustrator from After Effects? I would be able to split the path in there and then re-import into After Effects I’m thinking.
Thanks for the fast responses so far!

Hi,
Just wanted to thank everyone for their comments!
I just bought an interesting book https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1585422193/ that looks like it dives into color harmony (pretty strongly from an illustrators viewpoint). Seemed worth it! I am looking into the complete color index as well, thanks John!

Thanks Art and Mike for the suggestions,
The color guide is very interesting. I was able to do some cool stuff with it so far. Very helpful, especially helps make life a bit easier when determining the color of text (in combination with other elements).
Kuler is pretty sweet and I will have to hop over to play with it some more!
Thanks a ton so far guys!

Thanks for the useful info, it’s people like you who make this site worth revisiting for it’s helpful community!
It’s funny you mentioned that because I just saw some written information about that right after writing this post. I will look deeper into this for sure. By color guide, do you mean a written guide that comes with illustrator or is this accessed through illustrator itself? Let me know, I am very interested, thanks!

A couple questions:
1.) What is a null (In audio terms)?2.) Is there anywhere online that’s resourceful with examples of bad production audio (many different situations)? I may just try recording the bad sound myself even.
I’ve read about this mic, it’s a shotgun, but it’s hyper-cardioid and gets good reviews – https://www.trewaudio.com/sankencs3.htm – It’s a tad expensive, but it looks like it might do the job for any indoor shooting.
