There’s no difference between DVCAM and DVNTSC? I was under the understanding that DVCAM was higher quality than DVNTSC. Thanks again for your help.

Solved my own problem!!

The down convert on the deck was set to Crop, and set it to widescreen.

and would reinstalling hte whole system help, or is it definitely an internal error?

And it pretty much explains everything. I was using Advanced 24p instead of regular (i’ll have to redig). I still have one question: Will using the Easy Setup for 24p as described on this website give me the absolute best quality for the 24p that i shot?
