I recently had the same problem. If you look just a few posts before yours you will see my post with the exact same problem. Try the search next time it really works great as well.

Here is what I did to fix my vista problem.

You’re probably using an old version. Update to 3.0.4:

I updated to the new and it worked fine. I did use the demo on windows vista 64 and it worked fine as well.

Yes, that was it. It worked. I had to uninstall and reinstall this version and restart.

I know you can’t capture to the ipod because Ipods can’t capture 100mbs, but you can at least store the HD footage on Ipods right?

I have an xls and love it and am going to get the AG HVX200 but I am wondering about some of the functions like optic image stabilizer that the canon has or the zebra pattern to help from blowing out your image. Does it offer and ND filters or how can one apply filters if one desires to do so?

I am fairly new to all of this and was just wondering.
