Wow, Are you a Mac user, Gary? People are really eager on the 7200 rpm thing, and I thought tha the WD Ultra was 5400. I should def try a Ultra disc then.

I`ve always stored my media on another drive than my os. I guess thats maybe just old fashion?
The G-tech looks good, but maybe too big for me at the moment. Does it have power supply?
I may have to go for 500 GB at the moment; price wise. The Lacie Rugged get some good reviews; tried it?

Thank you for trying J (-: I just cant understand this. When my clip is connected to a transition I cant pick the end point of the clip with the mouse by left click. It only mark the start point of the transition. If I left click a clip without a trans, it works well, and I can use the (.) And the (,).
Thats why I wanted the shortcut. But I cant figure out that either / do you know of any turtourials that shows this?

Strange -When I use alt + 8 in my browser, the left bracket is shown [ . But when I use this command inside FCPX it just do a kind of default trimming. It doesn’t grab the left side of the clip.. I really don’t understand this. I thought I could use the command, and then use . to , for frame trimming?

Any idea what those brackets and backslash are om a norwegian keyboard? Or how I can see it from my system preferensce. It should be a combination of alt/shift/something.

He, he. Yes, but just by deleting the clip, leaving the space open, and show the primary. Now all the medium on the right side of the clip are pulled back to fill the empy room. It messes everything up.

Some day I will probably die of embaressment, but I can’t grab the editpoint in the clip close to the transition. What is the shortcut for picking the edit point to the right?

Strange – when I use P and delete the clip in secondary storyline, it does’nt affect my primary, but it sure affect my secondary.

So you all agree that vegas is a much stronger tool than fcpx? How about the external disc, if I do the bootcamp and windows? Can I use Mac OS Extended(Journaled) or do I have to do fat 32?
