did a disk image, same thing
but think I found the problem
I got a 3TB drive installed, possessing some files who disturbs the import menu…
If I unmount this hard drive everything is cool and works like it should

one strange thing is, I got all in all 7 volumes, my system drive (which is SSD), an older system drive, the 3TB backup/stuff drive and 4 media drives video storage

In FCPX, I can see the 4 media drives and the system drive, not the 3TB and the old system

in the import menu, 3Tb figures as a Camera in the first row, next row is Devices and here I see the 4 media drives, the system drive and the old system drive

so if I open the import menu with 3TB mounted, the SDcard shows under Cameras together with 3TB, but the SDcard keeps trying to load bot never do
if I eject the SDcard and wait some time, it mounts 3TB one more time, but with another icon, a XDcam disk icon, and here it stops (see attached file)

so somewhere on this drive there is a file who makes FCPX think that it got a XDCam disk on it

I am now trying to trace the file, but its a messy disk, lot and lots of files, anyone got a way to do this?

another way of thinking for sure, but does not works very well on this footage, all the stripes are dark, so if I try to limit the dark, thats a no go ..
the sapphire filter did not do the trick, Boris i got difficulties to find the right installer, but will defiantly give it a shot 😉



know that I can never move it, but try to hide it a bit would be great, there is a limit for how fast one can edit to cover up, the client would like the picture to stand more than 1 sec each 😉



it is for one to ten playbacks in a closed circuit, a press-event where we got some control, but no distribution, it is a one off master 🙂

yes, going for 3D Bluray BD, the client needs to play via HDMI 1.4a
I got Neo 3D, but tell more about software, is that for Mac?
I do plan to do some post, and looks forward to play with all this new stuff
I need a master 18 April, so it is a little stressfully, can not wait for NAB, haha

my footage is shot on Panasonic 3DA1, and got both the H264 files from the internal card, and full dual HD from KI/pro, in prores HQ
but I got mail from BM, that the card can not do this, and never will, so I swapped my BM card to Kona3G, and hopefully that will do the trick 🙂
just need to figure out how to make my master to BD as frame packed stereo file, think I might end up at a post house, it is a hardware based encoding as far as I know now, or?
