Can u still view it on the Mac ?
Insert the card in Mac and look in side the Mac Trash – not that you put it there accidentally.If the Mac sees the data. the data is there. If not something weird has happened and you may need to look with google for a disk restoration tool or reshoot if not too complicated.

Jim,
the single most important thing is (Hope I am not mentioning the obvious)
1. Do NOT and I repeat DO NOT and NEVER use the Migration Assistant to transport data
2. Boot in to recovery mode and disable the security stuff. (I know that one is reluctant but I had to do this for my 3rd pty plugs to even work.
3. Never install Catalina as an update – Clean Install and manually copy over the files needed. DO NOT copy preferences etc. Set it all up new. (It sucks I know but will save time in the long run)——————————————————————————

Aside from the Video Size Factor the social factor plays a part. If we all do home office we might as well never leave home and all the momentum coming from working live with other people will vanish….
Been doing lots of remote stuff in the audio branch and although the files are smaller I HATE it.
Being in the studio with talent is so much more rewarding than seeing them on a CPU monitor because they are half-way across the world -)——————————————————————————

Catalina should not yet have been released to the public. In my experience I have had to go thru’ numerous work arounds and HACKs to get my plugs and other stuff to Work.
Core Audio is stuttering and doing very odd things. Finder has gotten a mind of its own. Networking is poorer than it ever was. Compared directly with Sierra, Catalina is about 20% slower at everything…
All the new security features are only good for one thing -> Getting in the user’s way.
The cut of OpenGL/OpenCL and focusing ONLY on metal leaves anyone with a NVIDIA card in the dust.
If one has the option ( which one does not with new Macs ) one should stay with Mojave and NOT upgrade to Catalina. Not yet anyway. The Beta of 10.15.4 is at beta 5 and still buggy – so at least wait until 10.15.4 drops and users post opinions !

Here in Germany Europe everything is closed. Offices like Post Facilities are still open which I think is fine…
I believe the chances of catching corona are bigger when grocery shopping “Imagine how many articles the guy at the register touches that has been touched by 10000 individuals per day” than catching it at Warner.
The reason for the lock down is not to prevent ONE from catching corona it is to prevent 1000 catching corona at a time as the isolation rooms in the hospitals aren’t there in sufficient numbers nor are the respiratory machines.
I am a home office person but my children goes to kinder garten and my wife works in the medical sector so I am in a risk zone as well. That said, I am not more afraid of corona than of a normal Influenza which BTW kills 70.000 people per year in Germany alone

Depending on which iMac it is and when it was released you might be lucky and be able to install Mojave. If it was released as Mojave was the current macOS you can install it.
