It is a little confusing – there are two levers to drag. The first one sets the “color direction” , and then you can pull another to set the ratio. I do not like it either…

Yeah – don’t you just LOVE break-out cables? Reminds me of the good ‘ol Media100 days where I got a new dongle to put on top of the old dongle, every time I updated the system….

No ethernet. Just like with FinalCutX, we do not need collaboration any more – according to Apple.

We often keep the last version for a while, in case we need to interchange versions with others that do not yet have the latest release. Also, there can be bugs in new software releases that will force you to do certain things in the older version. No problem having both installed, but when opening a file the operating system will choose the newest software version unless you choose through right clicking…

I have done a reset of the Parameter Ram (start-up while holding alt/cmd/P/R), and now everything seems to work again.
But BTW You are absolutely right about your advice not to rush in and update immediately – just wanted to se if I got better OpenCL performance with PP CS6 – but not really any noticeable difference.

Can play audio through internal speakers from Premiere Pro – but cannot adjust volume. Control Panel is dead. Also now I realize preview of video files does not work anymore – and FCPX cannot start.
STAY AWAY FROM 10.7.4 – (and for me soon it will be “stay away from Apple” – if they continue their arrogant march towards becoming a toy company)
