I am having similar problem “can’t activate recorder try resetting the camera”. tried all sorts of things but didn’t work, even reinstalled Win 7 and cs4, no use. When switched to HDV in Adobe I was atleast able to control the Camera but no picture. Amazing enough this error only pertains AG DC200 Camera, but if I use other Sony or Panasonic Camcorders equipped with IEEE 1394 it works, not sure what’s going on..need Help!!!!!!
