    I was having the same issue and was able to piece it together.

    V5 Fill travel matte luma
    V4 fill matte (grayscale, no alpha channel)
    V3 outgoing travel matte luma
    V2 wipe matte (grayscale, no alpha channel)
    V1 incoming

    This setup worked quite well for me.
