Of course, I should have realized that. Do you know of a way to use variable speed changes which do allow for duration change?

Hi Tom, I’m not trying to change the opacity or the audio levels using keyframes, simply the speed of both the audio and video. The intended result is a where clips action is gradually sped up beyond normal speed to appear exaggerated or fast speed. And the audio staying in sync with the video to gradually become higher pitched. A comic effedt for a tv humorist.

I can assume then that all of the content and programs in fcs 2 are on the fcs 3 discs, with the exception of live type which I can down later if I choose.

Michael, great idea doing the crash record on the digibeta. So, the hdcam does the down conversion?

HD is upper, SD is lower. Not sure which is even or odd. I thought that might be an issue also.

I’ve tried that Shane and the results are extremely aliased. Have you done this successfully before with the same or similar card?

I am outputting to hd with a sony hdv deck. I do use a aja lhe card but my attempts at down converting via the card don’t look as good as the software down conversions. Perhaps I have a bad card? Or more likely, I’m doing something wrong.
