Okay, codec changes will take a long time, but the real bad thing an that is the lose of the source timcode information. Any online conforming, e.g. with the flame, are impossible without handmaded edl corrections.

Or: Can anyone tell me a way to handle codec changes without losing timecode information??

I hope I’m to mistaken with my statement.

    Thanks for your post.

Of cource the FCP sequence is set to RGB. But how do you set the output to RGB? In FCPs “Audio/Video Settings” -> “A/V Devices” is no possibility to change the color mode from YUV to RGB. The KonaControlPanel reports 8yuv as working color mode.?? But as well as in FCP it isn’t possible to switch to RGB with the ControlPanel.

Of course the sequence is set to RGB. But how can I change the output to RGB? There is no possibility in FCP “Audio/Video Settings” -> “A/V Devices” to change the color-mode.

    Thx. Markus
