sounds like your having fun! Unfortunatly we need to scale down(to preview ) as our original files are 3k. What files size are you working with?….I think agent was refering to stopmotion animation forum.https://www.stopmotionanimation.com/dc/dcboard.php

Hi guys
I tried those techniques and they work. But is there any way of cutting out a few frames from a image sequence without creating a new layer each time? If you needed to do 20cuts in one shot you would end up with 20 layers. There reason being to keep things abit neater in very complex projects.thanks

Hi
One think we noticed on the dell 24″(halve the price of the apple 23″) is that bright images look the most natural. Dark images look a bit grey because of the way the lcd always looks a bit “iluminted”. When you first turn it on it doesnt look totally black…like it does on a crt. Thats my 2cents worth. Other than that it looks totally amazing! We love it. Also on the dell if you run s-video or component into it, it looks pretty bad….. stick with dvi. If you go s-video in through the multibridge it looks better. But hd on it is epic.Miles

Yes the dell 24″ with the mbe definatly rocks!Well if I had the cords in the correct way in the first place(I am using hosa bnc to s-video breakout cable) in prempro2, AE, deckcontrol. So mac/pc drivers might work differently.
I think all I really did was have hardware down conversion activatled and working(without the dell). Then power off, turn everythink off.
Then plug the dell into the MBE dvi output.
Then turn on dell,
-turn on multibridge,
-turn on computer .Then if it doesnt work once your in your edit programe then restart it and try again. I think compared to our little (pvm14 n6a) trinatron the dell looks 100 times better….unfortunatly I dont know what is more accurate. I suppose you would need to get it to look good on both. I havent played with any dell calabration yet.
Also 2k wont do down conversion from a 2k project but both 2k and 3k files work in a hd project. We have tested it but of coause our onboard raid cant play it back properly. Hd 1920×080 50i is fine. Our poard is a asus a8n32.
Sorry I’m rambling but hope this info can help in someway.Miles and Jules
