Sure, SDI out of the Intensity to SDI in of the DVCPro. Or component video, either way.

Sorry, forgot the Pro didn’t have SDI I/O, but you can still use component. -
The new MXLight software allows you to record the interlaced stream from the H.264 Recorder. Works with the ATEM TVS also.

I just wanted to update everyone that the Shuttle works perfectly with my laptop’s USB 3.0 port.

With the release of the MXLite software, all of my concerns about the H.264 encoder are now non-existent. That piece of software solved everything for me.
With that said, I’d like to add something else to the “Wish list”:
– The chroma keyer in the ATEM isn’t very good, maybe license Ultimatte’s technology, like Echolab did. Once our Echolab switcher dies, or we go 100% HD (the Echolab is SD only), we’ll have a $11k Ultimatte card that will be unusable, and I haven’t seen anything that keys as well as that does.

Just tried this out, and wow, what a difference in video quality. Since you can now capture interlaced video in interlace, that alone makes the picture quality much better.
Will definitely be purchasing.

If you use the Blu-Ray H.264 output, Adobe Media Encoder will do interlace just fine. Found that out the hard way, after many weeks of messing with it.

Richard, thanks for the update. I assumed (and we all know what that means) that Thunderbolt was an Apple technology, though it’s actually an Intel technology.
I stand corrected.
