Thanks for the reply. Hope they solve this issue.
Maybe it’s better in CS5.5???

Someone recommended this in the forum.
Copy the clip with the roto effect and place it into a brand new comp. For whatever reason it was then able to freeze correctly. Guess that’s my work-around.

Any additional advice on this topic? Having the same issues that you describe here. Some of the shots I am working with have no problems freezing. But others, won’t freeze in full or at all. I’ll try rebooting and see. Very frustrating. Am I missing something?
