You would think at some point I would learn my lesson! This might be a dumb question, but my brain already hurts…Is there an algorithm I can rely on when fixing each clip?

EX: For every second of clip move the clip on the timeline forward or backwards X Frames?

Also, because it’s a documentary, there are alot of photos with a ton of motion/movements. Will these be out of whack when pasting to the correct FPS?

Great. Thanks for the advice on this. And just so I’m doing this step right, just copy everything inside my current sequence, create another sequence with the correct FPS, and then paste everything inside of it?

Hi Mark,

Yeah, so no potential recovery. I believe this is from a few years ago and her editor has either deleted the file or lost the drive it was on.

I believe MPEG will do the trick. Thanks again!

Hi shane,

Sorry I didn’t specify. I have already re-encoded from Pro Res back to H264 for youtube.

Though my question is, if I should use a different codec for film festivals now, which will no doubt be screening this on a large screen?

Basically, can I and/or should I upgrade my workflow from prores422 to another codec? One more suitable good quality once the file is enlarged?
