    Thanks Bob. My Mac Backups are on a SeriTek dual drive, this FirmTek has two internal ssd’s and the facility of two esata outputs the Macs o/p is Thunderbolt.

    Thank you but I’ve sorted it now. In MC 6.5 there is a Comms setting which gives the choice of none Matrox etc.
    I selected Matrox and there was my problem. Had I selected none (default) I would not have had a problem. It had been wired correctly but I had not used the deck up to now.
