  • Yea, I finally “gave up” on this problem. I contacted Sony Creative software tech support.. and after a couple of emails.. they wanted me to FTP my project and supporting files to them.. which was a real pain for me to do. Rather than wasting my time with being their Quality Assurance staff for them.. switched to using Author Works 4 by TMPGenc. It works great, no bugs, doesnt re-encode like DVDA did, and I actually like its menu choices better for authoring the Blu-Rays or DVDs. Even supports pop-up menus that DVDA did not.

    I too experienced issues with the built in capture in Vegas.. and switched to HDVsplit. I like how HDVSplit is able to stamp the date time info into each file’s name that is created.
