My thought is to use Color Curves and drop the bright part only down quite a bit. I’m sure the eyes are way overexposed and doing this should help a lot.

Amanda, George is correct. I bought the deal and didn’t have to provide proof of any kind of being a Vegas owner – which I have been since it was an audio only app at version 1.0

Roger, I finally got the “official” offer – two weeks after I ordered it thanks to someone on the Sony forum who posted the link 🙂
You must have missed it so here it is. -
Very few cameras record 24 bit audio so you can safely use 48/16 on your Zoom recorder.
To be 100% sure though, load any camera footage info Vegas, switch the view setting in your Project Media tab to Detailed and scroll over to the Bit Depth column.
p.s. some folks on here don’t like going to different sites to view an image, especially when you can upload here using the image upload tools that Creative Cow gives you.

Aaron, I don’t know about you but I’ve never had the Sony script name the resulting region render the name that I gave it.
Instead, I use two scripts (one written by John Rofrano) to do my region batch renders with the names I give them.
RegionsAtEvents places a region at each event on the selected track(s).
BatchRender-Regions is a script that has been modified to batch render the region names to the new file, not the default render template.
For anyone that wants them, I keep both scripts in a zipped folder in my Dropbox account at RegionsScripts.zip -

You neglected to enable (click on) the Sync Cursor to Media Timeline button.
It’s at the bottom left of the FX window and looks like an I with a lock next to it.
Do this and each time you move your cursor you’ll see it move in the timeline as well as the Preview Window.
Be advised that each time you make any change a new keyframe will be created, sometimes inadvertently so be careful 🙂
