Thanks Norman,
I can certainly understand what you are saying about the price point. It all seems like it’s pay me now or pay me later type of thing. Apple and the others have always been expensive. I have read the Sony powerful and easy to use lines, but they fail to mention the plugins and all the aftermarket costs you need for that ease. At this point financially I have to learn most of it from within the hard way or just walk away. -
If you want something better, you should have a look at Boris Graffiti as a Vegas plug-in. Muchhhhhhhhh better.
Yes Theo, it does look much better. A few hundred dollars better. This is my problem with it all. Everywhere you turn you have to buy something else to get it done. I did download the trial for Boris, but didn’t open it. It is still lagging behind the 64 bit technology. Maybe if I save my pennies I’ll have enough for the software when they catch up.
They needed to offer highend tutorials like Boris Red, Adobe Affect Effects, Avid, and Final Cut Pro is doing.
I couldn’t agree more Jonathan. I see a ton of well done tutorials available on their dime.

There’s much more to discover with the new ProType Titler, but the techniques you’ve learned here will give you a great start on building a completely new dimension into your projects. Take some time to experiment with the ProType Titler and soon you’ll be creating dynamic and exciting text that not only complements your video editing work, but helps you take your video projects to a new level of professional quality.
I read this Theo and like the video is does not go deep enough. They can very well afford to do better…

Thank’s Matt, I have the 32 bit installed on my computer as well. At least I be able see what the program is capable of until that time.

The trouble is that not all tutorials are created equal. Some authors make it plain and simple while others leave you scratching your head right off the bat.Sony gives you the basics, but really should step up the tutorial program. The webinar’s are helpful, but don’t happen near enough.
Like everything else associated with editing there is someone there wanting you to reach in the pocket so you can do all the cool and latest plugins without all the work of trying to figure it out on your own. Not to say that the information and help from those on this website is not appreciated. It is second to none. Finding the time to wade through it all would really be a plus…;^) I’d rather spend that time hands on and learning through trial and tribulation.

Thanks Michael, The weather resistance will be a plus. There are a few more features with the 7D that does not come on the T2i. Seems like a whole lot more money, but what are you going to do. I have been dazed and confused on this thing for a while. I wish I knew what Canon was coming out with next. Might be worth the wait.

No one has a T2i to check out around here. Guess I’ll just have to get what I wanted in the first place. The 7D.

Go to Best Buy and try the T2i, 7D and the Nikons see (hear) if you can tell the difference.
Thanks, Michael
Best Buy carries these cams???Game spooking noise, Noah.
