My way of doing things in Vegas 12 for MP4 was using handbrake after rendering XDCAM EX MP4 in 1920X1080i. I always had good results. In Vegas 13 however, it is ugly. I don’t know what might have changed.

Everything appears to be as if they have one hand reaching for your wallet and a bat in the other waiting to whack you over the head. At some point the rewards are not worth the costs. It is an addiction that finds people paying for the latest and greatest. The trouble is with the tradeoffs you need to keep up with the current technology. It would be nice if you could afford to compete with the Jone’s, but robbing Peter to pay Paul? Ransomeware indeed!

Thanks John. I found this out after more than a few attempts at the same thing. It took awhile before the light came on, lol.

Peter, I just tried to recreate the issue starting from scratch and it appears that the Match Move FX is working as it should. I’m going to chalk it up to operator error. The only difference was that I put the event by itself on a new project. If I run into anymore issues I’ll be sure to let you know. Thanks for your patience.

Peter, I brought the matter up to Jon in a chat yesterday and he asked me to try the Match Move FX using BCC8 in VP12. It does function as it should there. I will do what I can to fill your request to Boris support as time permits. Thanks

Thank you for your explanation, Peter. I would hope that both versions will share that ability at some point.

I found that the Browser does have the apply button working from within the individual FX. My question now is why can’t you assess the possibilities of all of the FX from one source for your media rather than having to do so much opening and closing?

Lol, Yep, when things get ugly turn out the light. Nvidia had a couple of driver upgrades. I used one and didn’t like the results I was getting from it. I thought of downloading the latest one. It says it will improve game performance and all that just as the previous one did..

Turning the GPU off did the trick. Memory fails me, but I now remember having this very same problem when GPU acceleration was first introduced. I was putting a trial of BCC9 with FX and transitions through its paces to see how it responds in 13. It works very well BTW. All I need do now is try to wrap my head around when or not to use GPU.

    Thanks for the help guys!
