    Fo anyone who stumbles across this problem, turn OpenGL off in:
    Preferences->Preview.

    I scrub through the timeline and I can see it occur. But on output there’s nothing. I can even scrub the output mov and still nothing.

    something else ?

    As a simple and quick answer man, try exporting a quicktime movie out of Final Cut with the Current Settings. This will use the same quality you’re working in. If the file size is too big, go with Danny’s answer, he’s all over it.

    Thanks, It was the opposite to what I expected, I had set ‘Collapse Transformation’ instead of having it unchecked. Sometimes I just do these things without understanding why they work…

    Often Compressor will estimate a time, and if it compresses the audio first, it gets to 50% before deciding it wants to take a whole lot longer.

    Maybe watching women make out on YouTube might be more fun…
