—Can I reasonably assume that you are working with footage transfered from an F700 ?

Yes

—And that the “capture” is via XDCAM Transfer rewrapping the camera native MXF clips to MOV files for use in FCP?

—And the Export is also using XDCAM Transfer back to disc as MXF wrapped MPEG HD 422 or exporting as Quicktime Movie with or without transcode to other formats?

—Can you also confirm that your workflows work flawlessly with projects and content acquired and handled in any other suite other than your Edit 1?

The project, when brought into another editing bay (Edit 2-9), will also crash. We’ve also tried transferring the media and projects to another Raid (Thinking it may be the drives). Final Cut seems to crash when scrolling through the timeline or when rendering. However, other projects (other episodes of this show) seem to work fine in Edit 1.

I found that out recently, but it still doesn’t explain why it’s crashing. Sometimes it happens during a render, sometimes it doesn’t. It crashes nearly every time I try to export.
