    Im still trying to configure ffdshow. Im so stumped, I have no idea how to do this or what I should do. When it comes to this kinda thing, you can call me illiterate lol.

    It says “Sony Vegas can not open the selected files”

    So I went to the link, ran it, and clicked install. I figure thats all that is needed to be done. Then I opened up SV again and tried to import the footage but it still says It cannot be opened. Although I can avoid this in the future, I do not want to scrap this episode. So I need to get this fixed temporarily.

    Thank you! My recorder actually has a setting to record on for Sony Vegas specifically. I will do that next time. I am running Sony Vegas 12 Pro. I will get back to you and see if ffdshow works.

    I did stupidly do the “K” pack. I uninstalled it though. I actually didn’t check the bandicam website to be honest. But here is what Mediainfo says:
