Ok. So this is still happening. I have noticed it happens, when I right click in the source monitor -> Display Mode -> Audio Waveform. If I go back to composite video it stops doing it. I like to add my markers when I can see the audio wave form because it is easier to see the sections that need to be cut out.

Closed the app, shut down the computer (even though I did this last night), opened it back up and problem was gone. If it happens again I will report the bug.

This is crazy, I had the same thing just happen to me after quitting the software and shutting down my computer (troubleshooting a different issue). Went to open premiere and I got the same message. Went through all my auto saves same thing. Then it popped up saying I can start my trial??? What the heck, I’m paid up. Sign up now, then it signed me into my account. Everything opens fine now, now lets see if the restart helped the original issue. LOL

look at the settings in Premiere. if the frame rate column is not visible in your project panel then open the info panel and click on the clip. This way you will know for the future.

Are you using Mac or Windows? PP 2015.4? I’m on Mac PP 2015.4 and I am seeing the same issue, it must be a glitch.

Have you tried to see how it looks in a different media player, maybe VLC? I have had issues with quicktime making my footage look hazy but it look right through VLC, Premiere and when it posts. How does it look in your editing software?
