markers and a moving time indicator

Here’s a a new one and it is making me want to bang my head on the desk. Hopefully someone knows what’s going on.
I’m editing some training videos and going through marking the footage. Using the source monitor with the audio waveform displayed so I can easily see the gaps of were to mark the errors. Everytime after I mark the footage the time indicator jumps back to the beginning of the footage. So I can’t even hit MM to change the marker color or leave notes. Finally had enough googling searching an frustration so I posted on here.

Closed the app, shut down the computer (even though I did this last night), opened it back up and problem was gone. If it happens again I will report the bug.

Ok. So this is still happening. I have noticed it happens, when I right click in the source monitor -> Display Mode -> Audio Waveform. If I go back to composite video it stops doing it. I like to add my markers when I can see the audio wave form because it is easier to see the sections that need to be cut out.
