Eric’s right, no wonder they revoked my library card.

The reason I had such a hard time finding Dan’s “the World’s Greatest Cameraman” was because of a mental glitch of mine.

I didn’t realize it but my primary scan mode is to look at the little Thumbnails pics to the left of the tuts, and I initially don’t read the Blue Title (link to page).
That thumbnail says “Expression Controls” while the link says “Building the World’s Greatest Cameraman”. I looked several times and missed it every time. My mistake. I didn’t intend to create a firestorm. I just found the old one easier. Old Dogs, new tricks.

I must admit I waxed poetical (too much so) about the good old days (old tut system). Whatever is best for the Top Cowhands is best for me.

PS – But we could still string up that Post number one guy.

Or you could do something like this:

Since you want to vary the opacity from 70 to 95, set a keyframe for opacity at 82.5 (splits the difference), then add a wiggle expression:

    wiggle(5, 12.5)

then adjust the frequency (5) to suit your needs.

It’s a bit different, but eminently tweakable.
