Others would know for sure (the script authors) but I think your right about being too low on the AE version scale for these scripts to work, so maybe try this:

SpriteMaster had a work around without scripts, and it works for one vertex, but involves tracking, anyway he explains here:

Drop the jsx files in the Scripts Flder in AE’s Support Folder, then open AE and File > Run Script and it should be there.

AE is a great for making Art Prints. I use both it and PhotoShop for Printing Art stuff, it’s great because it’s non-destructive. I only have PS7, not the newest, but AE does greatstuff. Like they said above just make a jpeg, or whatever your printer wants.

Hey, this sounds crazy, but Costco is a great place to print your pieces, $3.00 for an 11″x14″ or 12″x18″ print on Fuji Crystal archive paper (75 year stuff). Three dollars and the prints are great, you can even download the color profiles of each individual store’s printer (but it’s a little more than I need as my monitor and my local Costco printout are very close).

    Way awesome.

Couldn’t it just be duplicate layers of one clip, with masks and little well chosen time re-mapping?

I gotta go try it. Later.

Rick is my favorite ex-Cow Leader, I saw a post by him breifly over at Adobe, hope he comes back some day, that guy knew his way around AE.

You should be able to highlight the particle Position Property – Copy, and then create one point of a mask with the pen too, Highlight the Mask Shape (M, reveals) and paste.

Ok, fair enough. I wasn’t bad mouthing AE7, I loved the demo, it just didn’t seem as big an upgrade as AE6 to AE 6.5, IMHO, at least not for me.

By the by, did you or Fox have to pay for the copyrights to use the movie clips, just wondering how expensive something like that is. Maybe i’m asking too much, so just tell me none of my business if that’s the case.

    Thanks for responding.
