    I know I’ve seen it done…and I think there use to be a tutorial posted about it, basically I want to project a quicktime movie onto a solid layer in 3d space using a light layer as a “projector”…this is really important for my over all project and I’d really appreciate any help-I know the answer exists somehwere in my material settings-somewhere in “casting shadows”, “transmitting light”. “accepting light”, etc. I just don’t seem to be able to come up with the right combination.if anyone has a recipe that would be wonderful. thanks mak

    Light: cast shadows on
    Gobo (go-between) movie layer: cast shadows on, light transmission 100%
    Background solid layer: accept shadows on
