Can You describe how it looks like ? or can You put any sample on internet ?

I have a similar problem, when capturing video footage I get a purple/black (two frames) drop from time to time. Higher compression I use, more often I get thoose drops.

If You use Premiere’s preset the player is set to adobe and there is no audio remapping , everything works fine, when using blackmagic the problem appears in cs4 and cs5.

One hour DV footage renders to mpeg 2 in 9 minutes (CBR HQ)with my configuration.

I think that I’ve found this problem.
There is mp3 clip in bin. It is not used in project and doesn’t appear on my timeline, it was loaded for future use. This clip is being rendered every time AME starts to encode any clip from queue.
If I remove it, its ok. But here is the question, why during export AME renders it every time ?

The movie is 1h long (dv format) and its being rendered step by step in 5 separated pieces ( to mpeg 2). I dont understand what is processing Media Encoder. Its impossible that video track finishes far faster than audio track. When exporting directly from timeline there is no such effect, render starts immediately and its pretty fast.

This problem comes with Intensity Pro and Deckling Studio 2 with Premiere CS4 and CS5. Its about audio remapping. There is no problem with CS3 with the same driver release, everything works fine.

I have connected additional wire form BM to msx card and left this problem unsolved.

I had read thoose comparisons and specifications before I wrote my question. I’d like to know how it looks like in Premiere CS5. For example, one card gives me 5 layers RT with effects applied on them and the other 3 layers or 2. Something like this.

Install FX transitions and then downlad service pack for this plugin from proper Canopus site. It will install it with CS3,CS4.
