Which gfx board is optimum solution
I use Quadro 3800FX with Premiere CS4 and at the moment I’m waiting for my package with CS5 update. And here is the question …
What gfx board should I choose ? 285GTX, Quadro 4000 or should I stay with 3800FX ?
What is the comparison look like ? How to check which one is the best solution for me with Premiere CS5. ( I mean only theese three options ). -

I had read thoose comparisons and specifications before I wrote my question. I’d like to know how it looks like in Premiere CS5. For example, one card gives me 5 layers RT with effects applied on them and the other 3 layers or 2. Something like this.

I’ve never seen a direct comparison of those cards. Perhaps a user can chime in with their individual experience with the card they have in their system?
If it were me, I’d use the existing card and see if it works well enough for your needs—for now. The other reason is to hold off until the end of the year when the Fermi based cards are released. Supposed to be well worth the wait.

The problem is… I have to asseble 5 video editing systems based on Premiere Cs5 and as I can see I’ll be a beta tester 🙂
