Thanks for responding. It’s only an issue with our 12 core machine as well and only when our source is HD. I am using Compressor DVD presets and default Compressor render management.
I have Episode Pro and Adobe Media Encoder on the box as well and they produce the same files just fine. In general I have noticed weird things happening in FCP Studio on the 12 core that do not happen on any of our Quad Core machines (increased instability, bad playback, and of course, our friend the green bar).

I’m having this same problem when encoding MPEG2 for DVD. Just wondering if you found a solution…
