I thought that was only the case with scanning display devices like CRT monitors particularly with interlaced feeds.

I don’t recall having any issues shooting plasmas or LCD projectors synced at 75Hz on HDV cameras with a shutter speed of 1/50 (PAL 25fps 1080p)

I’ve got a plasma a 7D and an HDV camera in my studio so I’ll shoot a couple of tests with the same shutter speeds.

Thanks, that’s a good work around and has got me back up and running.

The inability to set a parameter value for spit beam does seem to be an ommission in the program. I can’t really see how the function is that useful without some degree of control.
