Well, I don’t know for sure what the exact version of the software is, but I do know that the two other Macs I installed it on have the Intel processors, although they are the older “white” versions vs. my new black and metal iMac. Would that make a difference?

Actually, the new iMac I am attempting to install it on was purchased before Leopard was released, but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to let it try to install for a few hours and see what happens. Have you heard of this happening on Tiger?
