I have 2 Thunderbolt ports

Do you have any recommendations for Raid Arrays?
I am, as stated, an amateur, so, as much as I fantasize about it, I cannot really justify spending large bucks on a high-end system.

Ryan: thanks for getting back so quickly.

I have taken your advice and googled EQ to learn how to use it to “bass’ up the voice.
Right now, I am leaning towards the page from Larry Jordan, which seems to be what I need (https://larryjordan.com/articles/eq-warm-a-voice-and-improve-diction/)
I just have to wait to get home tonight to try it.

If you have any suggestions, or recommendations for other websites, regarding using EQ in Audition, feel free to pass it along, as well.

I’ve dabbled with Cinema 4d, so maybe I’ll play there.
After I’ve exhausted myself with AE.
Also, I remember reading somewhere that AE and C4D play well together.
Looks like my weekend has a focus now.

I’m a new user, so I’ve only used it as a multicam editor to see how it compares to FCP 7. Everything appears to be fine until I try to multicam with 4 cameras. Then: molasses. I also have a problem with tons of dropped frames when using FCP 7. I think I need to upgrade to something faster. If I may, what are your thoughts on “hackintoshes”?Thanks. Michael

Ryan: tried the hack but am not experiencing any noticible improvement. Maybe it’s time to upgrade. Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for the rapid response.
Odd, though, Chris, because the “fixed resolution” was already unchecked, but when I checked it, it expanded the borders and the problem was solved.
