This is a question for the duplicator. They know what they want better then anyone else.
Are you getting replication or duplication, huge difference, also can determine what they need.
Duplication, I would probably send a .img file
Replication, I would send a DDP fileunless someone specifically asked for a CMF I would never use it.

Click build and format. In the box that opens. Current Build: (Choose) then pick another location.

Two options.
Change the location of where the new project writes the build folder.
Go to the location that’s already selected and delete the folder.
When you go to Build it is telling you where you are putting the build folder.

Yeap, every NTSC SD codec is lower field first.
But if/when you are starting with HD (which is upper first) and going out to DVD you want to keep you field upper throughout the process. DVD will play back sd at upper first if that is the way the footage was shot and edited.
All you are doing is keeping the temporal order of the frames constant throughout the process. Compressor will correct swop the flines if you turn on frame control. Episode also does a correct line swapping. Within Fcp you need a swap fields filter. So there are good ways to handle it but you have to know and test what you are doing.

Why not try a few of the methods. By your questions it seems like you haven’t even tried any of them.
The menu can only be a single file. Of course you DON’T flatten the layers. The background is a color or image for the menu.

Nope, they don’t go back that far.
The earl question is how do you remove, delete or uninstall codecs in windows 7? Where are the codecs?

iTunes is installed and for some reason it is the default app for quicktime movies.

Thanks, the exporting out is not a concern for my workflow. The system is all messed up, I have uninstalled quicktime, and deleted a ProRes file but when I download ProRes codec it will not install because it says a newer one is installed. Quicktime will not play the files either. I’m at a lose to fix this short of a complete reinstall which would be easy but I don’t have the restore disc, it was set up by our IT dept in another state and the guy that did it is gone.
Does anyone know a way to uninstall codecs?
